Learner Support Services

The following support services are provided at the University in Lusaka:-

Administrative Support
Psychosocial Counselling
Academic Guidance
Bookshop and Library Services
Occasional TV/Radio Broadcast
Community Radio Broadcasting
Occasional Print advertising
E-mail facilities between the University & the provincial centres

The Institute of Distance Education provides some of the learner support services through the university's provincial centres from which students can get information about the distance learning programmes. Provincial centres are run by Resident Lecturers who are full-time university employees.

Change from Semester to Term system The University Senate, in the interest of all stakeholders, has made a decision to revert to the Term System in the 2013 Academic Year which commences in October this year.Rightly so, some questions and concerns are being raised about the impact of this shift on degree classifications and payment of fees. We wish to assure all students and other stakeholders that measures are being put in place so that no one is disadvantaged. You will be kept informed of the developments as Schools embark on course reviews for the Term System.
