Medeem Zambia donates equipment.
Medeem Zambia Limited has donated 15 ARC GIS Software Licences valued at US$22,500 with training materials and tutorials worth US$1,500 for student use at the University of Zambia.
Speaking at the event Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mick Mwala said he was honored that Medeem Zambia Limited have responded to the request for assistance towards building capacity in the Department of Geomatic Engineering and grateful for the donation as it would serve to mitigate against the problem of limited training software for the students.Read more...
Vice-Chancellor’s visit to University of Queensland, Australia
The Vice Chancellor Prof. S. Simukanga, in the company of the Dean of the School of Mines Dr O. Sikazwe, and the Head of the Department of Metallurgy and Mineral Processing Dr J. Masinja, travelled to Brisbane Australia between 6th and 14th June 2014, to visit the University of Queensland.
