1.    The University of Zambia has approximately 461,738.10 hectares of vacant land within a prime business area of Lusaka adjacent to the Arcades Shopping Centre and less than 2 kilometers from Manda Hill Shopping area. The University of Zambia intends to develop this land through Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). The University has therefore set aside some funds to recruit a Transaction Advisor to assist in identifying a developer to develop this land under Phase 2.

2.    The University Procurement Committee, on behalf of the University of ZambiaManagement now invites Expressions of Interest from interested firms or consortiums for the provision of Transaction Advisory Services to various projects that the University intends to develop under Public Private Partnership using the design, build, operate and transfer basis.

3.    Interested eligible Firms must submit the following information

• Information on the firm(s) and its representatives (if any), the Name, Address, Telephone and Facsimile and E-mail;
• Indicate under which name(s) and for how long the Company has been providing similar services
• The firm’s General Organisational Chart to execute the assignment, the Name, Position and Curriculum Vitae of key personnel; and
•  Information on the experience of the firm(s) in undertaking similar assignments.

4.    If two or more applicants associate themselves, each one must include their own documentation as stipulated above in the submission. Interested firms are advised to provide any other additional information.

5.    Expression of Interest must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ZAMBIA’’.

Interested firms must submit one (1No.) original marked “ORIGINAL” and three (3No) copies marked “COPY” all sealed in one envelope. The Expressions of Interest must be deposited in the tender box situated on the 4th Floor Central Administration building at the University of Zambia Great East Road Campus 1st June 2012 at 14:00 Hours local time. The Expressions of Interest shall then be opened immediately thereafter in the conference room in the presence of bidder’s/representatives who shall choose to attend.
