Courses in this Department span three clinical years (5,6,7) and formal instruction is given by means of bedside teaching, essays, case demonstration, systematic lecturers, specials subject seminar, tutorial, clinico-histological and clinico-radiological sessions. Clinical teaching is supplemented by on-the-job acquisition of knowledge and skills or the Sub-Intenship where students are encouraged to show initiative and participate in patient management.
