The Department of Biomedical Sciences is the entry point of undergraduate students from School of Natural Sciences who wish to study for the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. The department is responsible for 2nd and 3rd year students and offers the following courses : VMB 211, VMB 212, VMB 311, VMB 312, VMB 321, VMB 331, VMB 332, VMB 341, VMB 342, VMB 451 and VMB 303 It is a well known fact that without basic science there cannot be applied science. Therefore, the department is involved in various research activities that add value to the scientific community and general public. OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT- To provide effective teaching and teaching materials to undergraduate and post graduate students.
- To conduct demand driven basic and applied research.
- To provide relevant service to the public.
