  • Consultant to the Swedish Embassy, Lusaka, on the feasibility of creating a Human Rights Institute in Zambia
     

  • Served as a Consultant on the Study on the Domestic Impact of the Six Major International Human Rights Treaties, led by Prof. Anne Bayefsky of York University, Canada and Prof. Christof Heyns of Pretoria University. This was a study commissioned by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights
     

  • Consultant, Ministry of Legal Affairs, finalising Zambia’s Initial Report under the Convention Against Torture (2000)
     

  • Served as Consultant to INTERIGHTS of London, preparing research papers on Human Rights and the Lower courts
     

  • Served as Consultant to the Zambia Integrated Health Project on Human Rights and HIV/AIDS in Zambia
     

  • Served as Consultant to Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit, Office of Vice-President, preparing a Draft Disaster Management Bill and providing instruction on Disaster Management and the Law in Zambia
     

  • Served as a Consultant to the Malawi Human Rights Commission, conducting human rights training for commissioners and staff of the Commission in Lilongwe
     

  • Served as a Consultant to the Permanent Human Rights Commission, helping the Commission  draft the National Plan of Action for Human Rights.
     

  • Served as a Consultant to OXFAM-GB, advising on Land Tenure Policy in Zambia
     

  • Served as a Consultant, Southern Africa Consulting Group (SACOG), planning, designing and conducting civic education programmes for elected leaders, councillors, and training trainers in Civic Education on behalf of the Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP)
     

  • Trained paralegals for the Catholic Commission  for Justice and Peace, the Legal Resources Foundation, YWCA, and the Zambia Civic Education Association
     

  • Served as a Consultant to the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) and the Zambia Independent Media Association (ZIMA), which among other things, has involved researching into, and writing a Handbook on  Media Laws and Related Statutes
     

  • Served as a Consultant to the Southern African Human Rights NGO Network (SAHRINGON), which has involved conducting training for Human Rights activists from the SADC Region, and editing some editions of The Human Rights Observer and the Southern African Human Rights Review9
     

  • Served as a Consultant to Southern African Regional Institute for Policy Studies (SAPES).  Among the projects undertaken has been a three year Study on Human Rights Education in Zambia, which has resulted in the publication of a book.  Another project included preparation of a concept paper on human rights in Southern Africa for the UNDP Human Development Report, 1998 which SAPES was commissioned  to prepare.
     

  • Served as Consultant to the Inter-African Network for Human Rights and Development (AFRONET), editing the Zambia Human Rights Report 1999 and the Zambia Human Rights Report 2000 , writing some chapters for the Zambia Human Rights Reports 1998 and 1999 and preparing a study on accountability and transparency in Zambia
     

  • Served as a Consultant to UNESCO in helping to establish a Southern African Human rights Website, and writing the section on Zambia (www.unam.na/1660)
     

  • Have facilitated over a hundred and fifty human rights training workshops/seminars/courses for various organizations and institutions in Zambia and abroad
