The
Revenue Appeals Tribunal is established by the Revenue Tribunals
Act. The Tribunal
was established to hear appeals under the Customs and Excise Act,
the Income
Tax and Value Added Tax. The philosophy underlying the creation of
the Tribunal is to provide a specialized and speedy forum to
resolve disputes between taxpayers and Zambia Revenue Authority.
