Responisbilities
Preparing and guiding in the preparation of work plans;
Participates in the formulation/review of policies and preparation/review of work manuals and procedures and related documentation;
Stores in appropriate places according to the department;
Advising the user department on the availability of stock;
Advising the superior on obsolete stock for disposal;
Issuing of stock to appropriate units;
Verifying and ensuring that goods received from suppliers are in correct quantity and quality;
Recording all incoming and outgoing materials;
Updating stores records to indicate accurate quantities of stock;
Weekly stock taking and preparation of status reports;
Supervising the cleaners to ensure cleanliness in the Central Stores;
Preparation of quarterly and annual operational performance reports.
Qualifications
Grade 12 school certificate or its equivalent;
CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply;
At least three (3) years relevant working experience;
Must have 2023 practicing license from the Zambia Institute of Purchasing &Supply (ZIPS); and
Must be ICT Literate.
