Health Promotions Research Programme

The Health Promotions Research Programme focuses on health related issues. Specifically, its main research areas include disease burden (HIV and Aids, malaria, child health and reproductive health concerns), equity and health, health behaviour, lifestyles and health, health systems(planning, financing, human resources, delivery, management and governance), environment and health and traditional medicine, among others.

Economic and Business Research Programme

The Economics and Business Research Programme broadly focuses on economic and business related issues. However, its main research areas include; event determined sectoral studies, development policy and strategies, labour and employment, regional cooperation and integration, entrepreneurship and private sector development as well as linkages between foreign investments and small and medium enterprises,  among others.
