2.5 ASSESSMENT

2.5.1 Methods of assessment will be specified in individual programmes and/or courses/modules and will be communicated to students in the course outline.

2.5.2 By registering for a course/module, a student is also deemed to have entered him/herself for examination in that course/module. The organisation of examinations shall be through the Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies.

2.5.3 In order to qualify for final consideration in a course by the examiners, a candidate must have satisfied the attendance requirements specified and must have completed and presented for assessment all work specified for the course within specified deadlines.

2.5.4 Only examination results approved by the Board of Graduate Studies after they have been determined by the appropriate Board(s) of Examiners shall be released to candidates. Formal notification or confirmation of results will not be given to candidates deemed to be in debt to the University.
