Born on the 3rd of May 2001, Natasha Wang Chibesa Mwansa is a sensational 18 year old University of Zambia student who recently made global headlines owing to a speech she delivered during a conference in Canada, where she aroused an audience of over 8000 people from all over the world and got standing ovations from three different heads of states including President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya and Justin Trudeau of Canada.
The University of Zambia Assistant Dean in the School of Education, Lecturer and Researcher Dr Sylvia Mwanza Kabaghe has won the prestigious Joep Award at the just ended 13th International Conference on HIV treatment, pathogenesis, and prevention research in resource-limited settings hosted in Accra, Ghana.
The University of Zambia (UNZA) and Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see a more strengthened partnership between the two institutions. The signing ceremony comes after the initial meeting between ZNBC and UNZA on 19th February this year, where the two institutions agreed to formalize collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The University of Zambia (UNZA) through the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services (MCDSS) aimed at offering training programmes intended to develop critical skills in the staff at the Ministry and the country at large.
