Ms. Mulemba T. Samutela is a Biomedical Scientist working as a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Zambia, School of Health Sciences in the Biomedical Sciences Department. Ms. Samutela teaches Microbiology (Virology, Bacteriology and Mycology) Immunology and Molecular Biology to Biomedical Sciences, Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy students. Her research interest is in pathogen biology and molecular mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance of pathogenic microbes including Staphylococcus. Ms. Samutela is also part of the Research and Publications committee in the School of Health Sciences where she is a Team Leader for the core committee.
