Biography

Grayson Koyi is a Research Fellow /Lecturer and Coordinator of the Economic and Business Research Programme. He has over 23 years of professional experience in social science research and has undertaken various assignments as a researcher, policy analyst and monitoring and evaluation expert. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the School of Graduate Studies, Copper belt University, Zambia. He has an MA in Economics from the University of Zambia, an MA in Human Resources and Employment from the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, Netherlands. He has previously attended postgraduate professional development courses in Labour Market Policy Analysis at the World Bank Institute, Washington, D.C; Labour and Employment Research at the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy; Human Development and Poverty Analysis at the United Nations University, International Leadership Academy, Amman, Jordan; and Social Protection at the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy.

Research Interests

Grayson’s research interests include labour and employment, economic policy and management, corporate finance and investment, trade unions and labour relations management, SDGs and human development, human resource management and related socio-economic and business issues.
