Update regarding New Gowns
Following concerns expressed by some section of society regarding the "high" price of the new gowns, Management has reviewed the position as follows:
1. The purchase price of all gowns remains the same. This is because the prices reflect the actual costs of the gowns from the source itself.
2. The hiring price has been reduced to 50% of the purchase price. Note that certificates will not be issued to the graduands who will hire the gowns until the same are returned in the same condition as at the time of hiring. A surcharge will apply if the gown is brought back in a bad condition.
3. Graduands who intend to purchase/hire the new gowns are free to pay in instalments.
4. Graduands who will not be able to either purchase or hire the new gowns will be free to purchase/hire gowns from other sources. Note that this is being allowed for this year only. Going forward, all graduands will be expected to purchase/hire the rebranded gowns only.
