Doris Kafita is a Clinical Pathologist working as a Lecturer at the University of Zambia, School of Health Sciences. She received her MSc in Pathology (Clinical Pathology) and BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Zambia. She is currently teaching Cellular Pathology, General and Systemic Pathology, Fundamentals to Biomedical Sciences and Medical Genetics to undergraduate students. Her research interests center on the use of molecular and immunohistochemical techniques to improve cancer diagnosis and prognosis with specific interest in virus-related malignancies.
