Evans Daka is a holder of M. A. and B.A. Degrees in Political Science from the University of Zambia.  Working for the University of Zambia as a lecturer in Political Science. Country Coordinator for the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) project. Volunteering as a Lusaka province Coordinator for Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD). Member of the Zambian Network for Human Rights Defenders. Member of the Electoral Commission of Zambia National Conflict Management Committee (NCMC). Trained as a Trainer of Trainers (TOT) in election monitoring. Trained as a Trainer of Trainers (TOT) in Anti-corruption. Co-author of an article titled - Public Sector Reform and the Introduction of Neoliberal Capitalism in African Socialist States: The Case of Zambia. Published by SAGE. Interest areas of research; International relations, peace, security and conflict resolution, governance, elections and human rights.
