UNZA Collaborates with University of Botswana

The University of Zambia (UNZA) is gratified by the special visitation from the University of Botswana which is scheduled from 30th August to 2nd September 2022. The acting UNZA Vice-Chancellor, Prof Annie Sikwibele, who presented a detailed key information on the University, says Management is so happy to receive the team from the University of Botswana and is glad to exchange best practices in higher education sector.

Meanwhile, the University of Botswana Vice-Chancellor, Prof David Norris, said that his team was in a right place by visiting UNZA, adding that it was a great idea to partner with regional and African universities and learn from each other.

During the meeting a number issues were discussed which included research and publications, building strong links with the Private sector through Private Public Partnerships and engender partnerships with local as well as regional universities.

The University of Botswana team is on a benchmarking best practices mission with a focus on online and distance learning, marketing and customer care, research and publications, information and communication technologies.  At the end of the visit, the University of Botswana and University of Zambia intend to sign a memorandum of understanding to validate their partnership.
