Master of Science in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation

The Master of Science in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation is a SADC Regional Masters degree programme aimed at producing a critical mass of professionals with ability to utilize the latest remote sensing and GIS tools in order to analyse and solve complex geographical problems. The programme was developed with the support of SASSCAL. It is a collaborative initiative between the University of Zambia, the University of Botswana, the Namibia University of Science and Technology and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. The staff for the programme are drawn from the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, the Department of Geomatic Engineering and the Department of Computer Science. 
To be admitted into the programme, candidates require a degree (with at least a credit) in Geography, Natural Resources, Engineering, Computer Science and related fields.
