UNZA Signs New Charter on Collaborative Research Between Global North & Global South

The University of Zambia (UNZA) has joined several African universities to sign a new Charter aimed at promoting equity in collaborative research involving the Global North and the Global South (Africa). This new charter has a real and aggressive goal which will have direct benefits to UNZA in the area of research and innovation.

On the sidelines of the Conference of Rectors, Vice Chancellors and Presidents of African Universities organised by the Association of African Universities (AAU), the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Anne Sikwibele, signed the new charter on behalf of the University. The AAU-organised conference is being held in Windhoek, Namibia from 4 -7 July 2023.
