Research Interests
Speciality: Biochemistry
Study of unique characteristic metabolites of protozoa leading to identification of enzymes for possible use as future drug targets, their expressional and activity alteration in drug resistance. The molecular mechanisms of drug resistance, which threatens the efficacy of existing drugs, in Plasmodia and trypanosomes with emphasis on drug discovery and new drug targets identification.
