Dr Odubote joined the University of Zambia in January 2023 as a Lecturer of Animal Breeding and Genetics in the Department of Animal Science. Prior to that, he was a Lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; and at the Zambian Open University where he also served as the Dean of the School of Agricultural Sciences. At the University of Zambia, Dr Odubote is involved in the core activities of the university: teaching, research, and community service. He currently teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. His research interests include characterization of animal genetic resources, climate smart livestock techniques, and inventory of livestock GHG emissions.
