Biography

Academic Qualifications:

  • M.S. Animal Breeding and Genetics, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, U.S.A.
  • B. Agric Sc. Animal Science, University of Zambia

Ms. Harrison joined the Department of Animal Science as a Staff Development Fellow in 2013. She then went on to pursue her Master of Science degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln in The United States of America. After completion, she returned to a teaching position at the University of Zambia. Her research interests are in Animal Breeding and Quantitative Genetics with an aim to improve genetic evaluation and enhance selection response in livestock.
